Welcome to the The Anglican Parish of Sandford. We are part of the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania, Australia. Thanks for checking us out on the net. We hold services in Rokeby, Sandford and South Arm each Sunday as well as other groups during the week. We do hope you will take the time to join us on a Sunday or during the week as we proclaim Jesus and serve one another in response to Jesus' love for us. What are we on about at APSchurch?
As a church, we see that our Father in Heaven wants each of us to give up our old ways and to turn to His son Jesus. Why? Because he wants us to enjoy real life, now!
In the bible in Matthew 16:26, Jesus tells us of this problem in his own words: "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Also from the bible, in John 3:16 Jesus answers this question with God's solution to the problem. Jesus says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". That's complete fulfilled life. Not just in heaven, but NOW! (although, a lot more glorious in heaven!)Our Sunday Service Times
